Choosing An Attorney : Bankruptcy

Common Questions
I heard you can't file bankruptcy any more.  Is this true?  No.  The law changed a bit in October, 2005.  For many people Philadelphia Bankruptcy Attorneys are getting the same fresh start benefits for clients as under the old law.
Should I use a mortgage modification company?  Not companies that charge you fees up front.  The FTC has already identified 71 companies that are scams; there are many more like them out there.  Non-profit agencies which are government apporved can provide help if you are not in too deep, otherwise, call us.

Don't I loose everything by filing bankruptcy?  NO, NO, NO, A THOUSAND TIMES NO!!!  The law allows you to keep your property and only sell or surrender what you no longer want.

Won't my credit be wrecked for 10 years?  No.  Believe it or not you will be able to buy a home 2 years from now at excellent interest rates.  You need to come in to consult with us so we can explain what you find difficult to believe!

My creditors are calling me at all hours and at home and work.  Are they allowed to do this?  Yes, but there are several ways to stop them; we have the answers so get in to see us ASAP.

What is the difference between Chapters 7, 13, 11, 9 and 12?  A Philadelphia area bankruptcy lawyer will tell you a 7 is used most often for people who do not own a home; it eliminates credit cards and other debt.  13's are used to stop mortgage foreclosures, sheriff sales and tax collections; a chapter 13 can also eliminate or repay credit card debt using court protection.  11's are for corporations; a bankruptcy business lawyer in the Philadelphia area will perform this work; 9's are for municipalities and 12's are for farmers.  If you live in Montgomery, Bucks, Philadelphia and Berks Counties a 7 or 13 will help you achieve a fresh start.

Aren't I better off using a debt consolidation service as seen on TV or heard on the radio?  NO WAY!  You should hear the horror stories we have heard, like a client of ours who paid $465/month for 40 months ($18,600.00) and still owed the same $40,000.00 after that time - $40,000.00 which we got rid of with a bankruptcy filing!  She is a very relieved and happy person today.

My car is on its last legs; can I buy a car and then file?  Yes.

My bank accounts are frozen; my car was repossessed.  Can you help me.  Yes, but we need to take quick action; contact us now.

The sheriff showed up with foreclosure papers.  Do I have to move?  No, you may not even need to file bankruptcy.  There are ways to slow the debt collectors and foreclosure so you can get the money to re-instate your mortgage.  Or we can file a chapter 13 to place you on a court protected repayment plan which the mortgage company must accept.

I am loosing my house, my family and my mind.  What should I do?  Get in here today; we can help.

We are a debt relief agency.  We help people file for debt relief under the Bankruptcy Code.
